If you are processing meat birds, do you pluck them and make doonas from their feathers?
Well, I actually take them into DH’s work at the other Island to have them done. We only have the equipment to do beef, lamb, and goats here legally at our abattoir, and they need to be inspected to sell them. Also they do a much better jobs if it than I do at home. Although I can and occasionally will process at home for personal use only. And what pray tell is a “doonas“?

Very strange.

Does Aurora think you're the rooster?

I have a memory of someone saying roosters go to bed last. Is that true? If so maybe Aurora is trying to teach Phyllis to be a better rooster?

Anyway, overall I'd say Aurora is thinking the roosters in her flock need training.
That is true... TRUMP is always last up! It’s really cool!

The British call them “duvets”. Quilts perhaps? Bedding filled with feathers and down, anyway.

OK, I will tell this room, (Because you can understand) That I'm making corn on the cob tonight. So I invited my rooster "Jaffar" in for dinner, and maybe a movie later. He's such a good roo! (Deserving of special treatment) :love
Who better to invite in. 😁
