Ok catchup tonight... this is a quick coffee post before I head down to “help with the tree”. 4 hrs and they haven’t gotten fully through it yet. I have a vet appointment for Roostie, 5 phone calls and a good degree of begging later. Scheduled for Monday the 11th, and let’s just say I might not get the phone bill paid this month and I’m going to be advertising my eggs very soon... fingers crossed this vet is a great one, and not some speciesist “just a chicken” sort. Thank you @ChicoryBlue, after the 2018 Corridor debacle and the Duncan Vet that will see livestock but won’t make an appointment and is never available I had given up hope. ❤

70 year old zen Buddhist with a Big chainsaw, who has been a faller since before several of us “younglings” have been alive (I’m pushing 40, and putting myself in the younglings category!) No perspective tricks here... she was a giant.

Wow - that is a very large tree. In one of the hurricanes a few years ago I lost a black walnut that was about 100' tall - but it didn't have that girth to it.
I am very excited you found a vet. I hope they are good!

Those are some very ambitious drug dealer scales.
I can weight the chickens, but bits of a gram for individual dosing is a bit here and there.

I am trying to imagine you holding the chicken with one hand while piling weights on the other side to reach perfect balance. I can't stop giggling at the thought of what it would look like!

Today, I was finally able to get the new glass protective screen replaced on my iphone! YAY.
I found a service rep, who actually knew what he was doing at the AT&T store in town!
Free, with no further complications. (Sadly, a guy like that will soon move on to better job prospects) Too good for AT&T retail!
