Meet Josh

I'm going to be his medical foster. He broke both back legs, will need one amputated, and one will have pins placed in it. No idea what happened, but he is only 10 months and super friendly so the rescue is giving him a chance.

These are his x-rays. He has another consult with a surgeon on Monday. Hopefully he'll have surgery ASAP and then he'll recover here. The rescue is providing every thing he needs. I'll just tend to his medical issues and aid in his recovery.

The movie is a documentary about ancient China, and the Great Wall. Jaffar is interested, but BLU fell asleep already. (Too much popcorn I guess)

Yes, you got it right (and I had it wrong for years!) You practise vet medicine in a vet practice.

Unless you’re in the US, in which case both are PRACTICE.

There are some great quotes in his writing, but I find the stories disjointed and hard to follow.


I always felt rather upset by "The Walrus and the Carpenter". Those poor trusting oysters...

I can sympathise. I never really "got" "Alice in Wonderland" or "Through the Looking Glass" but I do enjoy his nonsense poetry.

Grame Base, the illustrator, put out a lovely version of "Jabberwocky" (which we have). No roosters in it though.❤

Ironically, Mrs BY Bob loves Lewis Carroll. When she competed in Junior Miss, her talent was a monologue from Alice in Wonderland.
