Sounds like one of our cats!

Why would a cat eat a plastic bag? That's truly strange.

I have a cat like that. He is obsessed with eating those envelopes that are padded with bubble wrap. Then he spews up little bits of bubble wrap all over the house.
This has to stop - last week I threatened to turn him into fur hats for the chickens if he didn’t give up this habit! I love him really.

I brought in 2 plants I wanted to keep through the winter. Davis is eating them and throwing up every day. I am losing on two fronts!

I have 5 barn cats. 3 of them hate me lol. 1 loves me and the other let’s me pet him but doesn’t care at all. I like cats o just prefer dogs

There are lots of cat lovers on here. I think that Shadrach may be the exception.

Let me give you the official welcome to the club. This is a pleasant group of people who care for each other and their animals (feathered or otherwise). The thread can move quickly. It can be hard to keep up but nothing says you can't just jump in whenever you have time.

We have many people from all around the world with many different kinds of chicken keeping. From my backyard flock of 6 in PA, to @Kris5902 meat bird and layer flocks in Canada, to @Shadrach tribes of chickens in Spain and the many backyard flocks representing Australia. It is a hugely diverse group that enjoys each other's stories and supports each other in difficult times.

Did he just arrive? I'm sure he'll get lots of love and support while he recovers. Good on you for fostering CCCL. ❤

He is still at the rescue until he has his surgery. I've been told that he is the sweetest boy. Even during wound cleaning and potty clean up he just purrs and rubs his head in your hand. He wants to be petted while he eats too.

Oh poor baby! He is a lovely looking cat. Did he get hit by a car maybe?

I don't think it was a car. He has puncture wounds and his pelvis is completely fine. I'm thinking he got caught in a trap or grabbed by a dog or coyote.

Have you tried orange or banana peels in the pot? Citrus is usually a good deterrent.
