Please elaborate. You are saying, not a "flock of chickens", it should be a "tribe of chickens". Please explain how you see the difference between a tribe and a flock. I am willing to correct my lazy language and utilize correct terms provided you can make a solid case. I believe that you likely know better than most "experts" and so I am willing to listen.
Technically Kingdom Animalia>Phylum Chordata> Class Aves
:eek:I just couldn't let this one slip by.:p
Tribal creatures please if you must. Birds, or fowl are not considered to be animals and chickens, as I would love to prove to you by having you visit for a few months are not flock creatures.

I'll get my coat then,:oops::lol:

They are definitely animals. Maybe you are speaking colloquially, or behaviorally from experience, because technically they are Kingdom Animalia > Phylum Chordata > Class Aves
Should I go hide now too? :oops:

It would be nice to exchange weather for a week or something, wouldn't it? I guess that used to be called traveling, back in the old days...
Will post my tax later from my phone!
It would be nice to get a quick heat wave every now and then.

Happy Hens, Happy BY Bob

This is the time of year where if there is not snow on the ground the weather is miserable enough that the ladies huddle up and don't move much. It's tough watching them huddle against the weather. They do not seem joyful.

Well the sun came out this afternoon and like a miracle, they were chickens again. And my heart was warmed. 💗

Also nice to hear the house sparrows!

I really like this idea. A short heat wave in January and a week of brisk cool wind in the middle of August would do me very well!
