I love it!Yesterday was irrigation day here—the first in some time due to a scheduled pause over the holidays. The last few had also been at night. These chickens range from 5 to almost 10 months old, so the rush of water was an unwelcome surprise at first.

That is fascinating. I assume they settled in and went after it as evidenced by the muddy feet.We are in the metropolitan Phoenix area, and it's very hot and dry here, so we're very lucky to have access to water at all. It's the only way things grow well. This neighborhood was once all orange groves, and so these homes still can access irrigation. It's well worth it, but something strange to get used to!
Chickens usually grow to love it, because it brings the bugs! It is a sort of feast day for foragers.
I predict by summer, when it’ll be well over 100 degrees F every day, they’ll be ready for it! By then it’ll come every two weeks. That is fascinating. I assume they settled in and went after it as evidenced by the muddy feet.
Probably excited and right in it!I predict by summer, when it’ll be well over 100 degrees F every day, they’ll be ready for it! By then it’ll come every two weeks.
Yes, that did come out kinky!Oh thank goodness! I was rushing reading ahead to see if she was ok..![]()
Do you have a syringe and a tube of personal lubricant on hand to help her along if it happens again? I'm not being kinky. Honest.
Wow, a fluffy butt lineup
I need to find a suitable picture to use with it for a T-shirt.![]()
