Oh! I’m on chrome! I’ll try Safari. Oops. Duh. Safari does not remember my password. LOL.

Edited after changing my password (email was delayed and had to use Safari instead of Chrome)

Oh the situation is entirely my fault, and of course once he has created a 'plough mountain' it is more-or-less impossible to move it.
The reason it is my fault is we did not fully clear up the construction materials from the driveway and it turns out that would be the best place to pile the snow. BIG lesson for next year, but I think for now I am stuck with where we are.
I got another foot of snow today but was able to use my 'pass through the mountain' to get to the Chicken Palace, so all good until it turns icy and then I will deploy the plywood boards again.
Unfortunately, and I still can't take this in, we have snow expected on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday this coming week and Tuesday the following week. Oh boy!
But pretty it certainly is. Sunset at the Chicken Palace.

Stunning!

Lucky is doing great, she’s eating like crazy, fitting in with the flock like she never left it, and her back feathers are starting to unmatt. Her bum is still bare from the massive trim, but the lice are all gone for now (dusting #2 is written down on my calendar!) I love that Carbaryl powder, now illegal here and potentially cancer causing or not

still having issues attaching pictures since the update

Today I did a full clean and bedding replacement in the chicken Trailer Coop (2.5 hrs) and hand carried a bale of hay to the far corner of the field in the top right of the above picture (which I tried to post yesterday) 7 square bales hand moved into the woods and the cows relocated from said far corner of the field they weren’t supposed to be in (3 hrs). That was on top of morning, afternoon, and evening chicken chores! Arduinna had fun, especially on the walk through the woods with the hay. At one point while I was cleaning the coop she went to play in the woods and didn’t come when I called. I thought I had lost her and was freaking out... she was just checking the leftover cow hay quietly though. If you will excuse my dishes (water issues means I let them collect too much) this is why goats make less than ideal house pets! It literally takes two seconds for things like this to happen...View attachment 2521161 View attachment 2521164
But she’s just so cute! Look at how much her little horns have grown :love

Not sure of ingredients. It's used for scaley leg mites on Canaries. I had a Canary. I thought it wouldn't hurt to try it on a chicken I was going to treat with something else. Glad I did. Here's a site with some info. I get it at Petco..pet shop. Oh.. ingredients are towards bottom of page. ..... https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/8-in-1-ultra-care-mite-and-lice-bird-spray
I have pour-on ivermectin “just in case.” Tempted to use it on a couple of the girls, since I have not been good about foot care. Maybe I’ll post pics this weekend (if I remember).
