So Drummie is NOT a fan of the hair dryer, at all. I brought him last night to dry him off, with the drop in temps I was not comfortable leaving his soaking wet butt out there. First time ever we had words and my sweet boy attempted to flog me. He's sulking today, but after some persistence did get him to take a raisin from me, and a quick cuddle.

i keep birds even if they dont lay eggs any more. Floppy is laying less but ill love her no matter what.
I have too many eggs! I read Buckeyes would lay 3-5 eggs per week. Everyone, except one, are laying almost every day! I am getting 3-5 eggs per day, usually 4 eggs. I would rather they have longer lives than be the egg machines so many people want. I am giving them away to BIL which is fine, and making egg-heavy recipes: Cream Puffs, savory and sweet. 1-2-3-4 type cakes. Challah. Egg Foo Young, Fried Rice. Hard-bolied eggs (yummy!). I should try Mayonaise next. I still can't keep up. :p

I'm so sorry. Mine really do love it. See Lilly enjoying it below.

Thats cold, but the dew point is low, so moisture should not be an issue. Just make sure they have lots to eat. If you can give warm water tonight or tomorrow morning that might make it a little easier on them, but they should really be just fine.
Okay, thank you! And thanks Bob and RC!
I will def have to bring water as it was beginning to freeze already today...... tried posting this last night but BYC acting up!

Everyone is fine this morning... brought them some warm water!
They just look miserably cold... and are being very quiet!

Looks like you got the wind blocked pretty well. They will be very quiet today and not very active. Hot water, straight from the water heater is what I do to give the a temp boost. That and good old KILLER CORN!
