Louis will just pass on all treats, he's a little bit pudgy anyway. There still is the promise of grass. Although, he's still wondering about his own personal chicken. Would Blu be up for a ride lol. He'd let any chicken sit on him as long as they wanted.

How’s the puzzle going @BY Bob?
Hope Eve and Davis have been helping 😉
The puzzle was out on complete hold and covered. Davis and Isabel were all over it. I'm afraid to look. 😨

I finished Abbey Road now starting on the Last Supper (I’m not religious but it looks interesting, my uncle lent it to me).

As I was doing the edge earlier I hear my feathered ladies chatting secretly outside the dining room window. They had discovered one of my jalapeño plants on our covered area, the one i have in a pot, and were making a sneaky attempt to pinch the leaves off 😬

Snow: You go first, Belle, you’re the favourite, she won’t get cross at you.

Belle: No way! I am the favourite and I want to stay that way!

Bok: Move aside young ones, I’ll show you how it’s done.

Belle: But Big Bad Bok, you’re old and slow, you will never get away with it...

Bok: Hush you silly young thing, I can and I will!

Snow (to Belle): Let the old dear go first, sister, she can cop the wrap from Mummy.

Bok: *munch munch* mmmm, it’s ok but not great.

Snow hearing door open: Here comes Mummy, quick, scarper!

Bok: Dont forsake me, little ones!!! You were right, I am slow!

Me herding Bok away, the other 2 have run off: Oh Bokky, get out of that, you guys shouldn’t eat those. Ooo, a caterpillar, here you go, old lady.

Bok rejoining the young ones: Hmmmm, yummy caterpillar. Now tell me, who is the favourite again?

(My first go at chook narration, be kind 😉)
That is fabulous. Thanks so much for this. :gig

My girls need some kind of bouncer to keep them in check. They were arguing with me because I had to clean out their downstairs run the other day, there I was dragging the wet card board and wood chips out and they all ganged up on me.

Their language was disgusting, flex screamed bok brok brok, then all hell broke loose, leaving me covered in damp wood chips and chicken poops :hit:yesss: It was at that point I lost it shouting back at them bok brok, bok bok :duc ( yes I can cuss to when needed).
I'm not sure who won, but it looks as if they probably did, because they got treats and I had to take a shower :idunno

@Grammy60
I think we have all been there. 😆

That might be my problem! I’m okay. Looking for the sun to rise so I can unleash those chooks. :love
Thank our sweet heavenly father, it's almost bedtime for mine. They have been havoc for me again today. I do try to hide but they know when I'm in the kitchen  . I'm going to bake bread later, I swear they can smell the sourdough, and they have not stopped bok bok boking all day :hit..
It's all my fault it's raining. :)

Ok. I have to know. What's with the Cheeto? I know I am risking a SHRA moment, but I must know!
Louis is just, different, from the other 2 boys. Dirt and Russ will beg and try to steal anything you eat or drink. If its good for people, it must be good enough for horses to and we must share is their line of thought. Louis on the other hand, never begs or offers to steal anything. Besides hay and grain i've found 4 things he will eat. Raisins, hot dog buns, graham crackers and peppermint life savers. ANYTHING else, nope, not having it. He may sniff it, but besides the two times he's took a bite of a crunchy cheeto which he promptly spit out and made a god awful face, he's not trying it. This even includes apples and carrots. Louis has a few odd quirks that make him who he is, and a lot of them I feel are due to his past. Before we got him for 10 years he was a padded show horse. After that he was switched to the heavy plantation shoes. Due to those shoes, he never got to be turned out and be a normal horse. First thing we did when we got him was yank those shoes and put him on normal keg shoes. But the damage to his feet is done, over 2 years later and his feet still don't look normal. Better, but still not quite right. After years of being stalled, he just doesn't know how to act or relax if he's turned out. He'll pace the fence line the entire time, not once offering to graze. Clip a lead rope to his halter, instantly drops his head and will pick as long as you let him. You can drop the lead rope, he still happily eats, remove the lead rope, back to pacing the fence line. Tried turning him out with Russ, didn't help. Russ would be pigging out, Louis just works himself up into a hot sweaty mess. Its ok though, for all his quirks, he makes up for it when he lays his head on your shoulder and goes to sleep. Besides chicken therapy, horse therapy is the best.

You really need to relax. It's not March yet. You got another week to go. She did not say instant spring. My gosh.
OK I will relax. Big breath!
I understood her to say it would all be over this weekend. I didn't realize I had to wait until March.
Please pass my apologies to Phyllis. In my defense all I can offer is that I have cabin fever.
Chicken tax. One very sleeepy chicken....
