I'll try that in a separate bowl from the oyster shell to see what they think, not mix the two. Thanks!I just save the egg shells from the ladies, crunch them up, and feed them a bowl at their choosing. (They eat them too)![]()
It IS super cute! I have seen Buttercup do it a couple times in her four years, but it’s not a regular thing in my flock. I did not realize it was somewhat standard behavior. LOL.
Those are both very fine ladies - but that picture of Hattie is particularly special - see how she flows across the whole frame.
Pretty plate too!
Thanks! All but Little Mill were taken inside the run. They gather around me a bit in there. For Flash’s photo, I used a live photo and changed the feature photo... otherwise it would have been a blurry picture of half her head. LOL. Millie was so busy scratching away, I just inched up close and grabbed a couple shots when her head popped up.Brilliant photos! How do you get so close? My girls hate my phone.
Maybe I should balance mealy worms on top of it.![]()
She is very much the broody pancake when laying. Those are both very fine ladies - but that picture of Hattie is particularly special - see how she flows across the whole frame.![]()
It's time to put them away. No more snow allowed.Pretty plate too!
