Beautiful birds! How lovely to be adopted by such a great mama bird
Our chicken journey started when we rescued a chicken that was suddenly sleeping in our hedge of blackberries and juniper in front of our house on a busy street. Three years later she still follows us around the yard

What a great way to get started.

And my journey started with a couple loose in our fence line when I was a young lad. It's funny how they choose us sometimes.

Oh how awful and poor Morgan that is so hard at that age. I am glad she was able to talk it through with her Dad and so glad Goldie could provide some chicken therapy.

Ditto what RC said. So many terrors bound into this one.
Chicken therapy - really any animal therapy - is so good for letting things be and heal. The best!
