Yeah, had to think about that. Pretty sure they are here too. Not sure why I thought that. Probably just thinking of the kids. Wasn't thinking right at all there for a while. That was a bad bug. Still coughing. And my nose. :(
But it sounds like you are improving and that's good. Give your body some time to finish it off. :hugs

All looks good. I’m waiting on a final flight check of my landing gear, then I’m off to California, perfect conditions for flying tonight. Lots of work to do tomorrow at home (and I want to see my chickens again)
Please stay safe. Let us know when you get there.

Your name

Originally I wanted some Wyandottes, but when you hatch a mixed flock you never know what you'll get. We decided that we have enough room for six and will get wyandottes later. Here are my beloved Ees.

And Creamsicle, who was at first apprehensive, but now loves sleeping in my hand.

Aurora's new minions or successors of Maleficent?
Let's hope Maleficent! 🙏 😉

Those who say “it’s only a chicken “ never had one or experienced the love they share with us!
Exactly. I raised these girls from day old chicks. I kept their heat in their brooder exactly so, I fussed over their pasty butts, gave them vitamins and electrolytes. I kept their brooder in my room so I could be a helicopter mom.
I’m so fussy over their food and treats.
I did everything I could to keep them safe.
Now I’m wracking my brain trying to think if the coop isn’t safe enough. Did she have an accident getting on the roost? It’s depressing.
