I actually did live in Socal for several years...my work mates teased me for wearing gloves in "winter"
That coastal air is cold in the early morning!

P.S. You know very well redheads are welcome everywhere 😀 special breed we are!
Hey listen. I was once a Redhead (Back when I had hair) I know just how dangerous we can be! :old Redheads are "welcome everywhere" because, who can stop us? just saying. :idunno

Good afternoon :)

I've just received my eucalyptus hemp and it has a very strong smell even coming from the box :( . I am really worried if this will be bad for them. Has anyone used this for their chickens?
Sorry I use leaves from my yard so have no experience. I also don't understand what eucalyptus hemp could even be.. There is hemp and there is eucalyptus - they are different plants. Is it a mix?

Butter's 2nd egg hatched overnight and its another white/yellow chick. Like its sibling, no feathered legs. I'm up to 23 or 24 now, to be honest I've lost count with a few more pipped. I do know 3 will be staying to at least grow out. The 2 white ones and one of the blue ones that my sister has claimed and named Pepper. The first white chick she named Salt, now just need another name for the 2nd white chick.

I really don't know and have just called the company again to check it will be ok. I wish they had sold the plain hemp. But I was told this is what they use for all their chickens.

I wonder if @featherhead007 would know
