A little time spent in Pests & Predators is enough to let anyone know Roosting time is danger time. We have so little to fear here I'm afraid we are pretty complacent & though the coop is pretty secure I'm almost sure a determined snake could push the nesting box lid up & get in that way. I'm not sure how to fix that given the design but we have a few things to tweak in the coop so I will continue to think on it.
