A local feed store or even hardware store should have a trap.

Another place to reach out to, if you have them there, is a trap, neuter, release organization for feral cats. They often loan traps.

I
Thank you. :)

It's all incredibly difficult because I've a feeling this cat belonged to an old lady that died a couple of years ago . The garden he frequently goes to the people ignore and attempt to contact them and the lovely lady next door is very fond of her plonk.

So I'm hoping my lad will wise up and make him more welcome when he passes by here. I know it sounds silly but I will try my very best, but this is no easy task.

I will call the cat protection again next week and tell them, no help then no donation.

Happy Saturday morning, folks! I was so happy to wake up and remember it’s Saturday. I let the girls out and was happy to see everyone seeming to be feeling (mostly) well. Yay!

I still need to walk the dog, but sat with the girls a couple minutes. Bridge has been following me around “talking” and led me to a little stump I sit on. When I sat down, she got in my lap, so I did this.
That might just be the most wonderful thing I have ever heard and seen. 🥰

It is so sweet of you to share.

Thank you. I never much thought about what kind of chickens Patsy and Lilly might be. The story of how we wound up with them is interesting. I will post it later. I honestly have just considered them mutts. I will say this, Patsy gets more red lacing each time she molts. This year it has started showing up on her wings. If you look close in this picture you can see it.

That’s really close to what my Black Copper Marans looks like. Super dark brown eggs. What color do Patsy & Lilly lay?
