The big black cockys (or is it cockies? ) used to come and strip the tops off the willows we used to have, looking for borers.

We have a small group of black ones that flit over each day at the moment. Unfortunately we also have a gazillion corellas that are destroying lots of trees. The oval at school is just a mass of them until the kids come running out to play.

You should be out of quarantine now, right?

Yup. Quarantine is over. I move to Bristol tomorrow.

Chicken whisperer! Are you out of quarantine yet? Or are you extending it so you can just stay hunkered down with the chickens? Wouldn't blame you!

I will have stayed a bit longer than intended anyway. I'll be able to visit my elder sister and her husband here and see the chickens again reasonably easily.
One advantage of the UK is it's small and easy to get around.
