I'm hiding in my bedroom from my fur babies they have sent me a little bit crazy after a long hard day and they just wanted attention.

Getting my water power machine too work was an absolute nightmare because there was a missing part but thankfully this dear old guy managed too fix it for me and spraying his old friend in the process, then I threw some mud as dear old john stepped forward, so both of my helpers left in a right old mess and I looked even worse.

All worth it, now the girls have a lovely clean path to poop on. Oh the joys of my back yard
You could bring the feathers into the house like Alex does. Then they control your TV and continue to demand attention. (And peck your ears)

What do these two things have to do with each other?? 👂🐥 Well, Leann 🐥 bit my ear 👂 to get my attention today, when I took the two littlest out of the heat. They both want my attention!
Crazy velociraptors! :barnie
I think that happened to @Ribh the other day as well. Olivia I believe. 🤭

A Sad Day

Today is a sad day at Fluffy Butt Acres. It is the anniversary of the passing of the greatest hen ever. She left us 3 years ago in 2018. It is amazing how much upheaval the tribe has undergone since then. Here is a quick synopsis.
  1. Daisy passes, tribe is Patsy and Lilly
  2. Hattie and Jabberwocky join us, tribe is now 4, Patsy, Lilly, Jabber, and Hattie
  3. Aurora and Maleficent join us, tribe is now 6, Patsy, Lilly, Jabber, Hattie, Aurora, and Maleficent.
  4. Jabber departs. tribe is now 5, Patsy, Lilly, Hattie, Aurora, and Maleficent.
  5. Patsy passes. tribe is now 4, Lilly, Hattie, Aurora, and Maleficent.
  6. Maleficent passes. tribe is now 3, Lilly, Hattie, and Aurora
  7. Sydney, Sansa, and Phyllis join us. Tribe is now 6, Lilly, Hattie, Aurora, Sansa, Sydney, and Phyllis.
All in three years. 😕

A quick moment to remember the greatest hen ever.

On her last day, Patsy stayed by her side until the end. I will always be grateful to Patsy for that and I did the same for her when it was her time.

Here is a short video of me holding Daisy as the end arrived. We sat together for a few hours and then she asked to be put down so she could spend her last moments with Patsy as seen in the photo directly above.

The skies today remind me so much of this day. Let's remember her for the jaunty lady she was.

Gone but never forgotten.

Daisy TGHE was beautiful. The video is so sad, of course, but hard to see her so not well.
That is a lot of changes in three years, for sure. I think you and they've done very well considering all that. :love

That's a lot of loss in 3 years some real heartbreak. But I've learned and we are doing a lot better.
