It’s 106f and I’m inside with five of the chickens, crazy Jaffar is out wrangling his ladies out in the heat!

I like my tribe of 5 (easy to count). But I definitely think I will expand some time soon.

I'm trying to hunt down another coop. I want too breed this time. I really like the site I use but the coops are out of my money range with all I have to pay out here plus paying for help.

Being Grandpa

Since rebuilding one daughter's bathroom I have been at the other's house babysitting. (boy do I miss my bed) Here is a couple of quick photos for all you Eve fans out there.

Exactly! I thought so. Here we call them Impatiens.

I do not find them on Poultry DMV list of plants poisonous to chickens. They should be fine. And quite beautiful. I love them.

Oh no - wasn't aiming at you. Over many posts a number of us have come to believe that all animals in Australia have the potential to kill you.
So I was just curious in what way the worm was lethal.

I know, I was joking.

I wish I could come build one for you. I would watch Craig's List or your equivalent for a used one. Sadly many people get into chickens and then decide it is not for them. You can find used ones much cheaper.
