I love your accent as well @Aussie-Chookmum! (And your babies) I love how each state/territory has their own inflectionI love those girls, and your vocal accent! Just saying.

Woohoo! Great news!Guys, I just walked by the incubator and looked inside like I have done hourly since I woke up this morning. 3 EGGS HAVE EXTERNALLY PIPPED!!!!!!!!!! It's soo sad that Henrietta is completely over being broody but all her initial efforts will not be in vain.
So exciting! I'm so glad you could save them!4 chicks out so far this morning, 1 blue and 3 blacks. A 5th egg is just starting the process of zipping moments ago.
she's a beauty! Now that a name has finally been decided and I'm 100% positive she is a girl, it is time to do another formal introduction. Meet Blueberry, the keeper from the chicks that Clover hatched out on Mother's Day. Dad picked this girl out as his chicken and it took him almost 2 weeks to finally come up with a name. The pictures are a little blurry, the camera was in my room with the a/c on so it was fogging up the moment I took it outside.

She really is lovely.Blueberry is a hard girl to get a picture of, she never stands still but I got a couple more last night. She may only be half marans, but if you didn't know you would think she's a full blue marans.
