She is beautiful, isn’t she?

They are just the quintessential farm chicken to me. I love watching Sydney walking in the yard. She is so pretty.

Four butts at once! Love it!

Ok, I just have to share. When I had my first chicks who quickly became young pullets, I was fascinated by their butt fluff. Being a newb, I didn’t even know that was a thing. I would take photos, and my hubby thought it was totally bizarre. I’m so glad to not be alone in that department!!!

They are soft soft and fluffy.

You all should be happy for me, I found a very special person, who shares my interests . And in my opinion, she’s beautiful. And her airplane is beautiful. If this works out, maybe we could trade both our planes in and get a jet! (Sky’s the limit so to speak)

Today was a very beautiful day. Sunshiney with a high blue sky and scudding clouds. However, there was a very strong, blustery wind.

When I went out to find the girls they were all huddled in the south west corner of the run sitting on one of the garden tyres. Except for Alice.

Alice was sitting down snuggly in one of the empty tyres. The tyre came up to her shoulder and the wall of the tyre would block some of the wind as well as retain heat from the sun.

What a clever girl!

I didn't have my phone on me and my attempts to recreate the scene this afternoon met with less success than I would have hoped!

That was really smart of them heat and wind protection.

I love photos of your tribe in action too. They are an adorable group for sure.

And you could call their coop The Yellow Submarine.
Maybe Mrs BY Bob will let you paint it yellow inside so it doesn’t mess with her color scheme at Fluffy Butt Acres?
