How wonderful!
I clearly need lessons from you on how to get Dotty from being so aggressive to me. Specifically my ankles.
When it comes to aggressive hens your on your own. Momma hen is honestly my only evil hen, and that is just when she has chicks that are under 4ish weeks old. There is no reasoning with that bat and EVERYONE people/animals alike just give her a wide berth. I mentally prepare myself every time I have to replenish food and water for the beating I'm about to get when they are really young. If a hen that may be 4 pounds on a good day soaking wet will flog a 1000lb horse in the face, I don't stand a chance. The only reason I tolerate her is she is the absolute best broody and hands down raises the most predator savy chicks.

Today's Monday (right?), so has Pyllis (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) chicks arrived? (I really don't know how should I write Pyllis's, i don't think that would make sense)
They are due to ship today. They should be here tomorrow. :fl

Cluckle Hut Update

This morning I got up and installed the door and a board on the lower side of the door.

While the door swings up, the board swings down for easy cleaning.
