Pretty sure it is not investigative.
If I turn around she draws herself up tall and puffs her chest out and lunges at me. So it feels like dominance. But she is also afraid of me because if I am standing in the doorway she is hesitant to come out while everyone else happily squeezes past me and mingles around my legs.

She is a complicated lady.

Oh yikes! Good thinking. Chicks might get stuck in chicken wire.

Luckily I have hardware cloth literally lying around. I just hate working with the stuff.

This is really sad . I have been with BYC since March and went straight to the turkey thread but just the few minutes I have spent here talking to you all I have gotten the most reactions and I have posted alot on the turkey thread and shared tons of my videos and never have gotten this much attention and friendly responses.
I did make enemies fast over there because I do things a bit different and the experienced experts didn't like that very much. I like it here much better.

It's nice to have you and your flocks here.
