Charlie’s really off this morning. There was a soft-shelled egg and what looked remains of another egg. She keeps sitting quietly and sticking her head under her wing. She wasn’t really interested in mealy worms. I don’t know if I can keep doing this!

She is having a good nap this morning. Hopefully she is willing to share the couch as she gets older because I'm starting to worry that she will be so big I won't be able to tell her what to do at some point.

How is Naenae doing these days?

She's a lot better, thank you for asking. After being in tears and begging hubby to stop giving her treats, she has has only one day with a multiple lay (1 soft egg, 1 shell less). No droopy tail moods and her normal eggs seem to be leveling out in size.
Not sure if the treats were cause or correlation, but they didn't need the empty calories he was gifting them.

We still haven't seen the vet yet but have an appt scheduled later this month.
