Those are probably the only clean ones! 🤣

Actually, Buttercup’s butt is clean, but she’s molting, so there are bare patches, too.

Speaking of molting, for everyone on this side of the world, are your birds molting right now? I have a lot of molters going on… Seems a bit early. Bridge, Lucky, Ester, Buttercup, Little Mill, and Cashew are all molting!
The prior to last, a whole lot of fluff feathers and several outer ones over a few days, and still finding new outer feathers. One Buckeye I think. But I'm actually not sure who it is, nobody looks particularly very different.

I do that too. Scrambled, with the shells for calcium
Remember this! I really do.. C884B3BB-E86B-4AD7-B353-B7B6F55E00A0.jpeg

Oh dear. I need to accelerate the charm offensive with Dotty. She it me hard on the hand just now.
OUCH - that was no joke!
But what is beginning to get me worried is that both she and Minnie have little growths starting on their legs. Given they are symmetrical I am assuming they are about to start growing Spurs. Yikes!
Also, someone was crowing just now. I was across the field so couldn’t tell who it was but if it was Dotty I am really going to be scared!
She is still submissive to the older Princesses so there is some hope.

Here is the growth on her leg. What do you think?

All of my girls have those little bumps. I read about it when they were Itty bitty because I thought I had screwed up and ordered all males and they were getting spurs!

Has Dotty's gotten bigger?
The crowing is something else all together!

I'm so sorry she's bullying you 😕

I feel so silly - she is tiny really, but you are right she is bullying me!
I think the little spur bumps are new - I see their legs often because the perch up on that day perch and look down at me.
I am going to start giving her one-on-one time with nuts.
I am not sure who crowed - Maggie is by far my noisiest Princess but she is more of a yeller than a crower. She also loves me and hopped up on the arm of my chair today just to say hello.
🤗

I think this and 2 built in fans are on the agenda too.
It's getting a little four-seasons feeling...I don't mean the weather either! Such spoiled girls! They probably expect rainfall shower heads and fresh robes and slippers each day.
They have every right to expect such luxuries. They are part of the family, right?
