Schedule = 'shed-yool' (although there is the argument that with 'school' we say 'skool' not 'shool')

Migraine = 'my-grain'

Cars:
Front bit: bonnet
Back bit: boot
Bit to make it go faster: accelerator
Where we get fuel: petrol/service station (or 'servo')

Holding it Together

Despite molting, Phyllis is still glamorous. She is holding it together really well. The new tail feathers are on their way and she has held onto that one feather so she never loses her shape. It's not easy to be that beautiful without molting but she pulls it off all the time.

Her motto, "It is better to look good than feel good".

A Blossom

If we get a hurricane it usually drops enough rain to make my Magnolia tree bloom again. That's right, bloom in the fall.

Well we certainly had enough rain this time and the tree has started to blossom again.

I'm good with waiting 3 weeks. He doesn't HAVE to get rid of them, he just knows my obsession with Marans. Beifielders *I can NOT spell or pronounce that name* are his passion. He's had them in the past and loved them, when they died off he got Marans to see if he liked them. He likes them, but is not in LOVE with them. And in general doesn't prefer feathered feet. So its a perfect solution, he's getting his favorite breed back, and I get more Marans. Which I would happily pay for if he'd let me. At least there is not a Rooster in the group, now THAT would cause a problem, bringing in a adult new rooster. And if i want, next year I can get fertile eggs to hatch and see if I like them. He thinks I will. I told him only drawback, no feathered feet lol. I just think my girls especially look like they are running around in their house slippers with their foot feathers. One day the perfect hen will get the name Minnie Pearl. I should have given that name to Holly, but I let Maddy name her.
My MIL has 10 straight run bielefelders. The hens are pretty and the roos are stunning: think Shad's Treacle with barred feathers. They're also an auto sexing breed, so hatching is easy.

Okay, chick names.
I have five littles. Names subject to changes, with personality traits
1. Coco
2. Shanny. ( Shenandoah )
3. Xzit (the chick named herself, pecking at my iPhone)
4. Bo-Peep ( Bo, if she’s a he)
And many colorful adjectives for the last one (such a stubborn little brat)
I’m hoping you BYC friends agree.
:fl
#5 :lau: that's how Twirp got her name. She's the one ho took herself out for a stroll while I was at work....at 5 weeks old...
