Wow! Piscia is so beautiful! At first we thought he was, and i really wish he was, but hes just a black hedemora. (Mystic onyx is such a beautiful breed!)

So one of the neighborhood hens, who I’ve named Pearl, stopped by and introduced me to her baby chicks this afternoon

I have to fez up. I'm bright green with envy; in a lovely way I should add.
Isn't it very special when mum brings her chicks to you. That's quite a brood she has there. I hope at least some survive. It would great if they dropped by on a regular basis.

He really is a cute little fellow. I'm glad you had plans for him. Now I get to watch him grow up!

I should go take more pics today. 18.5 weeks, egg watch is starting too.

I had to go outside and take some more photos! The front girly is rizo and she loves food SO much Haha!

Bottem one is Isbe, shes a gentle giant (the biggest and tallest out of them all) and sadly gets picked on from time to time from rizo. They free range 3 acres of yard and sometimes go into the house! (Mainly emily, shes very comfortable with that sort of thing)

Updated Cheetah pics. Got some wind happening today. Looks like his fluff is at least an inch thick. He's also getting quite the handsome cascade of tail feathers.

And is TINY compared to most of the girls his age.

Speedy little bigger though. He's been doing some herding with the pullets, and is more tolerated with Silver and Pear than the pullets, but the big girls can still run him off. They're also not roosting with him ... yet. Pullets mostly are, but pecking order is still in flux (and laying hasn't commenced yet).

I would really like to be in a better mood, and say a few jokes or puns, but this air isn’t funny at all. A nice sunshiny day isn’t good, (when blocked off by a brown choking haze.) kinda feels like the aftermath of a bad movie. (Preparing and hiding from fallout from a nuclear issue)

I am so sorry. It really is an awful situation.
