Beautiful!
I do I do I do!He's gorgeous!And white, Bob will love him!
I've been doing that for a few months myself...without the history warning...I just joined BYC about a month ago and found this thread about a week ago. PMed @BY Bob and he said 'write anyway" as I was afraid to respond to posts 'cause I' so far behind!
So, the 'Blast from the past' is me responding to a very old post...as I read it for the first time. I hope that doesn't confuse anyone.![]()
This seems to be what Hazel is doing. Head and neck were first, though I thought there were a lot of rear fluff feathers about. Now her back/rump is barely covered, there are fluff pins coming out under there, when she was wet yesterday the outer feathers parted and it looked quite thin. Overnight she got things in order but there might be just one layer of outer feathers over it. Pictures tomorrow! If I remember rightly, when Alice had her big moult she started at the neck and shoulders, then the back and tummy , then the butt and finally the wings.
You could check the photos in my "Alice's amazing moult" article if you are feeling brave, they are in chronological order.
What about Spitfire, Flame, Flambe, Fire, Pyre, Blaze (not suggesting Inferno for the same reason youre vetoing Mean Mary).Well, I'm listing 6 of Bunnies chicks this morning. 6 out of the 7 are boys darn it. Next year has to be better for hatching off pullets. This year I've averaged a 80% or better ratio for cockerels. The one pullet is for sure staying and the little spitfire is still unnamed. I have been toying with a idea of naming her after a racehorse I liked that recently retired. Mean Mary, but then in the back of my mind I fear if I give her such a name she'll live up to it.
She looks like Twirp, comb and all.Been a busy (kinda sad day) but I’m only waiting on the two littles to come back home. All the rest are in the barn/coop for the night. And Chaco, my horse is doing fine too. So, let’s celebrate:View attachment 2840846
Nice! They can be as good as film soundtracks, just put together slightly differently. My girls will have to put up with my musical tastes in orchestral game soundtracks.
You got olive eggs from your Polish rooster?I got olive eggs, from my EE hen and polish rooster, if that’s any help.
