:lau It's not a sound I've ever heard a rooster make as an alam call but it seems to work.
Oh it is very like the alarm sound my hens make - so maybe it is a ladies thing - and it is what I tried but with less satisfying results!
Now that I think about it, one of the Roadrunners made the noise and they all behaved like they did when I made the sound which is to freeze in place and look carefully around before concluding it is a false alarm and going about their business!

I am just catching up because of the weekend. When did you realize she was impacted and how did you know? I think it would be helpful for everyone to learn from you.
She seemed off, but it’s hard to tell, since she’s molting. I noted one evening on the roost it was firm and thought that odd, since she’s molting and not eating so much. I checked in the morning and it was the same. But I think Shad is right and it’s just slow. It was just so large and firm at first! This morning it was still quite full, but less firm.

@Shadrach I did not tube fluid this morning, but encouraged her to drink, massaged, and this happened after I tried to hand feed frozen bits of coconut oil only to learn she LIKED it! Hand feeding wasn’t necessary.😊

Yeah, I tried to sort of copy and over emphasize what they do.
