No they DID NOT! I fried up some chopped hotdogs and canned corn for them this morning (I like it like that)

You can get away with a couple of days after for milk, yoghurt and meat, provided they pass the sniff-test. Anything with ‘best before’ is fair game.

Long-life milk (in those P-Tek cartons) will not last 3 months beyond it's best buy date. Found that out the hard way!
