You've got at least two ways to do it: Beets, the best way probably, unless you are getting soft-shelled eggs, for which fruit-flavored calcium supplements will do it (remember @Kris5902 mentioned her pink eggs? I'm also getting a tinge here and there).
I forgot about the berry tums. 😆

Happy Tuesday!
I truly dont think the hens care that in a few weeks we will have a time change :tongue and it will fall back, all they know is chicken time, and it is now 6am, soon to be 5am,,,, they just want out of the coop :bow
Chicken time = time to eat , time to hunt around the run, outdoor roost time, time to lay an egg, time to
preen,
time for a dust bath:wee, time to eat, time to sit on the outdoor roost, 😴 Ooop time to prep for the night=(4:30pm everyday!)🧐
hunt, eat, get a big drink and get my fav. spot on the roost. :lau
[Notice Granny Violet picked the Head of the Table if you will, the prime spot, all of the chickens I have ever had fought to have this place]

I am going to finish this cup and................ then stroll out and open up the coop
Have a Great Tuesday!!

Yay for chicken time! This is OK for me, as we’re getting to the point that the girls don’t necessarily want to come out before I leave for work. As much as it sucks that I’ll get home after work and they'll get no weekday free range time, at least I’ll be able to get eyes on them and their behavior each morning.

It had made it possible for me to get up at 7 am and have a half cup of coffee before I let them out in the morning which is nice. 😆 :caf

The end of day free range is also getting short but will be much shorter very soon. I think they would rather keep the free range time. 🤔
Same here. But see my last post. It’s good to get eyes on them and make sure they’re behaving OK in the morning.

Oh good grief. Both of them?! You must be the only person who needs to have a hair dryer stored in your pool equipment shed. Seriously, you should. You could have dried them while on your shoulder.
On that note… Bob, it would have been tricky for you to take them in for an extended time while it was Hawk Hour and the rest of the tribe was out. I have a Buddy (brand) propane heater that comes in handy for times like this. I bought it for the beach, but really only use it in the yard with the chickens. Something to consider for your safety kit.

So glad they’re ok! :hugs My son thought they looked like ducks!
I always thought that Daisy looked like a duck when she fell in the pool.
