I’d like to find a list like this that deer don’t eat.
Also, we have a couple walnut trees and, while the leaves are supposedly toxic, some of my chickens think they’re delicious.

The deer list exists.....and there are exceptions for everything on the list.

I'd have wrecked the car if it was. I was driving home. Sadly we get neither types of coconut carryings swallows here.

They'll eat bird seed too...and suet cakes...

All the plant nurseries around me provide lists of local plants that deer don't eat. I am surprised yours don't do that.

They provide lists here too. Sadly the deer can't read them so eat everything anyway.

OK then altitude has nothing to do with why they don't hang here in the thick of winter. Maybe your more active farms help.

snow depth is probably a big key too. it mostly melts/gets blown into a few banks leaving clear ground. occasionally we get some deep stuff (2 feet is shocking). you tend to get snow piling up, right?
