I'll look that up.I've found and excellent pet pharmacy online in uk.Thanks for the chemical info @BY Bob. I had read a bit and the chemicals on their own are not supposed to be toxic at these percentages on their own.
I'm going to save the Net Tex for the coop. I've found this for the chickens which is just permethrin and a carrier.

Take note @Marie2020 before you buy some "natural" product or take advice from Facebook groups.
Permethrin still has the best knock down rate and least toxicity of any of the pesticides used on livestock.
You are doing amazingly well against all the odds sharachUnfortunately Amp is now sick and going down hill fast. She doesn't have lice or miites. She doesn't have coccidiosis, sour crop and isn't laying so safe to assume she doesn't have an egg stuck anywhere.
She doesn't have as Ascites, or at least there is no obvious abdominal swelling.
I'm going to risk a round of Flubendazole but after that there ins't much more I can do for her.
There are two more on the watch list, but the rest are improving daily. I've got to try and weight them all now. Most I can catch easily now but telling them apart is still an issue.
Aren't they right in that assumption? Or are the walnuts in your pocket? This lot are four of the seven mobile trip hazards that seem to think that every time I reach into my rucksack food is magically going to appear.View attachment 2900447
I dare not take walnuts in my pocket! I would never get out alive!Aren't they right in that assumption? Or are the walnuts in your pocket?
I knew you would have something for them! Yeah - you are right on the walnuts - you have to be careful - make sure you never trip over. If they are anything like mine they will not be above eating you alive.I dare not take walnuts in my pocket! I would never get out alive!
Yup they are right. I take them something other than regular feed most days.
Chopped pumpkin and oats today.

I would not want to know what a forced molt is. That does not sound good.Exactly. The thing I see is that you have enough experience to know this is something new and it could be something worrisome, but also that it might not be. A vet consult could be very helpful.
You know, what I wonder about is whether all the hormones, nutrition and whatnot that trigger and happen in molt, maybe hers are not up to snuff, and maybe she could use help in some way, something that you can give her that will help.
I tried a but of research, googling "poultry molt dysfunction" hoping to get a scientific discussion of problems encountered and not the general explanations of "why your chicken is molting." l got a few things but everything you'd /I'd want to read assumes more animal science knowledge than I have. One term I saw stuck out - "forced molt" - but I stopped before looking further. I wonder if that's something agribusiness does?
Me thinks BOTH!The one's eyeing you...impatiently or expectantly?
