Coop heater is on full power for her since she can no longer cuddle.Woo hoo! Let's hope Sylvie is uninjured and was just catatonic. There's the Coop Warmer still in there? She might need it as the temps are dropping.

Oh, Bob, I just read about Sylvie. I am so sorry you have to endure this...especially without being able to be home. I an crying just thinking of them and you. I will hug some of my chickens, thinking of you...and send you all my best.

Wonderful. Winter has arrived.I feel so sad about Legertha, poor Legertha!
Distraction:
Here's a picture from a couple days ago. The big run in place ready to move the little run and coop. I'm thinking of making it permanent, not sure where, and having the aviary runs move around it but this is where it will be for Winter. I've worked two days in a row, moved everything into place yesterday, it's 99% enclosed & everybody explored around it and the greenhouse frame (on one side) while I worked on it today. The chicken inspectors were on the job for sure. Popcorn was helping, carefully watching the needle-nose pliers and grabbing the zip tie from the other side as I tried to thread it through the wire.
