Is there anyway you can find too clear her airways and would coconut oil help with her eyes, which I believe has been known too be an antibacterial

I've washed her eyes with proper eyewash. The breathing is a long term thing.
Hopefully having a clean coop with better air flow will help.

I find it amazing that Lilly picked Sansa to be her new best friend after Patsy passed. I would have assumed she would have chosen either Hattie or Aurora rather then a new comer to the flock. Who knows, maybe Sansa is in training from the flock leader to one day fill that position when it opens up.

I just took some pictures of her, and she was less then cooperative about it. She is roughly a week into it. The new feathers seem to be growing in quickly thankfully so hopefully in a week or two we'll be over the worst of it. Initially looking at her from a distance she doesn't look terrible, but upon closer inspection the worst parts right now are under her belly and around and under her wings and her butt. But when she poofs herself up you then see what I can feel and that is her top layer of feathers are covering loads of new pin feathers all over her body which is why I think she can't keep herself warm outside. I wanted to let her outside for a bit today, but so far it's only 34 degree's and frost all over the ground in places the sun has not touched. When I found her shivering yesterday afternoon it was 42 out so she may not go out at all today. She's been insanely picky about eating this morning, only a few pellets of commercial feed, 2 bites of wet cat food and a couple bites of a hot dog bun.
She does not look too bad here.

There is also bare spots under her wings but she would not cooperate to let me get pictures of those and I did not want to stress her out. She feels like she is at a good weight but tonight i'm digging out the postal scales to see exactly what she weighs since she's decided to go on a hunger strike.

Poor baby. I'm glad you brought her in.

We just had a snow squall come through. Is Sansa inside? Nope. Outside with the others.
