Twofer (2.5 fer)

Here is Maggie, my little drunken sailor, wobbling her way around the chicken yard.
I restocked the vitamins and minerals and have to dissolve this one as a 4oz packet in 128 gallons.
If anyone is game to check my math I would be very grateful.
I am coming to 4.4grams in a 5 gallon bucket or 1.1grams in my 5 quart waterer.
Is that right??
The kitchen scale I got to weigh the chickens is accurate to a gram and I just calibrated it using the smallest gram balance scale weight I have which is 10g.

I switched to grams because I was going cross-eyed with decimal points of ounces!

I checked, looks right. You are rounding up the ounce = grams number and then rounding down, I'm guessing, which I think is better as erring on less additive per water is safer.

My poor little ladies (and Jaffar) locked up in the coop today (raining here all morning and into the afternoon. I just don’t want them outside getting cold and wet. I know that they don’t care about being wet, but I do! Fear not, I’m in the coop with them! :old
