Beetov-Hen’s not good. She has that breath smell, and she’s shaking as I am holding her. Any support would be appreciated. (I have been through this before and said goodbye to my hen) :hit:idunno
Oh Alex, I hate that this is happening. I feel like I know Beetov-Hen from all the stories. (Her and Sansa, and Amber, too).
So many losses the last few months. It’s disheartening.

Thank you Kat. I’m hopeful that she will fully recover. (I need to fully recover too) :hugs

I just can’t see losing her! :love EAE619EB-2737-4145-AF4B-12AA5E1AB5BA.jpeg

Well said. For me, the “loss” is real. The relationship is (partly) mine, even if the chicken, human, whoever wasn’t really mine. So I guess it’s projecting my feelings on someone else to say “I am sorry for your loss,” but I actually mean it. They are not just words.
Me too. If I say “I’m sorry for your loss” it’s because I AM sorry they lost someone or thing important to them.
