There aren't normally bubbles coming out of a chicken's beak. Did she just dip her beak in old water maybe?A little bubble Not sure why that popped up there.

Yes I too was worried when my cousin's hens came here, no worries my three joined up with her three and the rule the roost!Well, what I've been worried about finally happened. Thanks to Poppy, Chiquita escaped the pen. She was not super hard to catch, only took about 5 minutes but in that 5 minutes chaos ensued. Now the supposed reason Chiquita and her other 2 silkies were needing to be rehomed was because they were being bullied by larger flock members. I want to know what silkie her former owner was talking about, because it could not have been Chiquita. So what happened is once both girls ran out of the pen on me, I grabbed the rake and went in to rake out the poop. I then hear hens squabbling and run out expecting to see Chiquita being chased. Instead what do I see? Chiquita is on Raven's back pinning her to the ground as she's biting and shaking the back of her comb. Raven mind you who is no coward and joins Blueberry in causing trouble chasing other chickens. I run and grab Chiquita and poor Raven acts like she does not know what hit her and has a few drops of blood on the back of her comb. You know, I've been worried about introducing Chiquita to the bigger flock members thinking they might try to pick on her. Now, I'm worried about their safety around Chiquita. Silkies, they may be tiny but they sure are mighty.
Don't even talk about cell phones.... I don't get good cell access here best of times !Your internet connection is not working good? My cell phone has trouble today too!
Ok! Here is a pic with his eyes in view:Gorgeous! Stunning black and white and feathers galore! I want to see his eye though, that is maybe just my thing, I love to see their faces.
Looking rather jaunty in the first one, just plain magnificent in the second!Ok! Here is a pic with his eyes in view:
Thank you! He’s in the coop now, sleeping. HopefullyLooking rather jaunty in the first one, just plain magnificent in the second!
He is a fancy wee man for sureOk! Here is a pic with his eyes in view:
Mine either. Silver is lead hen (oldest) and has helped raise all the babies, in spite of not being broody. Storm stayed closer to Silver and Pear than the others (still does even though she's bottom of the list when it comes to food). Jessica is fairly low on the pecking order. Twirp and Thing are lower. She gets assertive with them, but keeps it to a single peck.My Wyandottes aren't mean. That would be the Vorwerks.

I’m no help! Very sorryOk I need some advice here. My one silkie Fluffy is looking very raggidy, I got a look at her tonight and all her feathers are gone on her belly from tail to base of neck with just a strip of feathers remaining along her keel, so bald on both sides of her breast/belly.
I do not see any creepy crawlies, and her feathers are white and clean other wise. I know her wing feathers are also just terrible, with what appears just the stalks now.
I do not see anyone else like this and the other silkie a frizzle seems ok.
Any thoughts? I don't think molting as I don't see any white feathers around. I am thinking the rooster is somehow to blame for all this, but how do I account for the belly being bald,?
