Wow, spend almost 3 days away from BYC due to a sinus headache that refused to go away and come back to find BY Bob has a lovely new lady. Congrats on obtaining Betty. I think fate played a part in this as she initially was supposed to be yours this spring right? It appears things are going well with integrations between her and Phyllis. I have a feeling before you know it those 2 will be as bonded as Poppy and Chiquita have become.

2 years ago today I buried one of my best friends. I will never forget her. I have have been lucky enough to have some very special chickens over the years and Maleficent was one of the best. Her death to an unknown predator while I was sick will forever rest on my conscience. Rest in peace my friend.

Her death to an unknown predator while I was sick will forever rest on my conscience. Rest in peace my friend.

Things move quickly around here.

Yes I am hopeful that they will reach an arrangement soon. It does seem that this is how the universe planned things. Everything else I tried was forcing the issue, I guess.
