2 years ago today I buried one of my best friends. I will never forget her. I have have been lucky enough to have some very special chickens over the years and Maleficent was one of the best. Her death to an unknown predator while I was sick will forever rest on my conscience. Rest in peace my friend.

Yes! And I was so proud of myself remembering that was a thing with chicken breeds!
I believe it is the standards that people who breed specific types of chicken are supposed to be aiming for.
What do I know? They are all chickens to me.
