Non chicken related. My brother just called me, yay, :celebrateand he said that he was going to take a few days off work next week, and would love to see me. So I’m setting up to fly to Seattle next week. Maybe we will be cruising around on the yacht. (I kinda hope so) ! I haven’t seen him or his family in a while. :D

I'm very happy for you both. It's always nice to see family.

Wow! Such a lot going on there.

I had an idea Betty and Sydney would be friends because they had so many chats the first couple of days.

I'm so pleased Lilly felt good enough to come outside for a while!

I find it very interesting that Betty (who wasn't living at your house when the hawk struck) is comfy staying outside while all the others go inside sooner. I know there are other factors at play, but it feels like a thing to comment on.
Interesting observation. I have to believe there might be something to it.

Yes. It makes sense. I am sure the others told her, but she didn’t experience it.
I do worry that she also can’t see, so I hope she listens to their alarm calls and pays heed

Yes, I want her to listen to the rest of the tribe...........

But

..............I stood right by her. Rooster Bob will keep her safe. No one ranges alone!

I thought I had posted something saying thank you Bob for creating a forum where we genuinely love each other and each other’s birds, but I can’t seem to find it. Anyway hopefully I’m not posting that twice, but I mean it.
That is so kind of you to say but I have to ask, what brought that out? Did something happen which I missed?
