So at 6:30 AM, I just got up, as it’s a holiday so I got to sleep in. Sitting in the living room bundled under my chicken quilt waiting for the house to warm up and I could hear a cashew crowing. So I opened up the kitchen door and now you get to hear it, too. I’m pretty sure she’s doing this every day, now. At least it’s a quiet little crow.

Everyone wants to be something that they are not! It’s cute though!

Oh goodness, how scary. Where is Lilly?
She is out with everyone else. I moved my office to the dining room to keep track of them. Fortunately it is going up into the 60s today so I can keep the door cracked and listen to them as well. I'm going to knock off work early today and hang out with them.

They are sticking to cover and hopefully I could intervene before a hawk strike but I am taking a calculated risk today trusting them to be aware.

Beautiful photos. So sorry about the weather. :(
Standard this time of year....and why I'm not upset over the broody fail. Also told me that Cheetah needs to step up his game and really court the ladies. He did catch Silver the other morning...first that I'm aware of, so a bit of progress there.
