My cousin showed me a clip of Penelope crowing, it was a full on crow! Cousin said it was because she had no rooster.

Penelope has never crowed here as I have a rooster, bet she feels haapy about that!

I've just come across an old thread on hawks, there may or may not be interesting information in there for all of us. One person recommended keeping certain hawks near because they believe some hawks can be beneficial too our chickens

Out and About

Well I pulled a Lozzy.

That is too day I did not close the entire complex up last night. I forgot to close the drop door.

This greeted me at the back door this morning as I went to make tea.

I bet the hens were happy, out and about so early. Even Hattie is out. The predators took a night off I guess.

I think it was ACM who recently didn't put the hens away.
