I’m working on Shenandoah, to be more like Bob’s Sydney. I don’t think that it’s even possible to train her to that level. But I’d be happy with another lap chicken.
You are very sweet but Sydney has not developed into the lap chicken which it seemed she would at one point. She is freindly but definitely a no touch lady. That's OK because it is her choice what our relationship will be.

So I would love to provide you with some Mug shots… but we’ve been hit with some torrential rain and it’s not looking very likely, maybe I’ll get something when I head out to refill the feeders, most everyone is either already up (about 3 hours sooner than usual!) or hiding under a vehicle somewhere, waiting for enough of a break in the rain to make it back to the coop.
No worries. You can always enjoy everyone else's. There is always 2fer Tuesday.

That would be a good time to hang a couple of apples and a cabbage. (don't cut the apples up, just hang them whole) It will give them a full day of boredom to finally decide that the apples aren't poison..and to check them out (plus will give them something to think about & do...occupy both mind and - for a short time - body!!!)
I like this idea. You need to entertain them so they don't wreck the joint.

Here it's buttercup and the two silkies who are the lap clucks. Tho right now Fluffy is very uncomfortable with her new Feathers ☹️. Normally tho she and curly are all over me. The magic of being food motivated haha.
