I had to dissect a fetal pig in 8th grade. I was partnered with my cousin who spent the entire time gagging, saying eww and barely holding the legs apart for me. I did all the work and we both got a A. It did not bother me though, I saw it no different then field dressing a deer which I had helped do several times before. Rosie is hoping they get to dissect something next year in biology.
Yep I don't have an issue as long as it's not my pet.

I am the one helping my BIL clean rabbits... 30 seconds to clean one 😲

My cousin just sent me this picture of 2 out of her 3 chicks that hatched almost 3 weeks ago. I'm trying to muster up enough courage to inform her that those 2 are boys. They are Marans mixes, and I know my Marans and Marans mixes enough to say with certain those are boys.

During Squirrel season I am the one to help my dad clean them for my aunt and uncle. We have developed a system and can have the bunch cleaned in under 10 minutes. It would be faster except we are being mobbed by the chickens. They think their insides are delicacies.

Squirrels... Not much on a squirrel... 😊

We get those huge white hares, they have lots of meat on them, big animals. They are brown in the summer and go white in the winter. BIL snares them (we call the snares slips), have a trap line going.

So the guts can go to the chickies, hmmmm good to know!
