I’m hoping this is intestinal lining and not something I should be worried about?!

I have read that they sometimes shed some pieces of their lining in poop....but this seems to be quite a bit. Can you send the pic to your Vet? I believe you have his email. It just seems much more than I have even seen shed/showing in poop, so would make me nervous. (Doesn't mean something is wrong..but I would rather error on the side of caution)🤔

Anyone else seen this much in poop from a healthy hen?:hugs

Never seen anything like that. I would also post it on the diseases and accidents forum - I am betting some of the BYC folk have experience of this.

Hooligans sleeping on top of, rather than under their heat plate. This is the second night. I am not sure whether to turn it off as it is getting cold again later I the week - down to about 35 degrees.

I know we are in the cold temps now (I'm so behind) and it's probably still on, just want to note that they are getting some heat this way even back then, and will not roost on it when it is too warm for them. I bet they like the height also. I would expect them to take to the roosting bar when they don't want the extra warmth.
