Yes I have been using warm compresses, it was brewing a couple weeks before it showed on Sunday.

It drained a bit last night but came back, so irritating!!!! I just soaked it again, and today I went and got some antibiotic eye drops. If not better by Sunday I will go to Emerg and get it looked at.

The hens keep eyeing it when I pick them up, I am sure they want to peck it hahahaha
Spoken with a harsh Scottish accent: “de want to be pecking at it, an de WULL peck it!”

See look, the leg in that photo is the one with the most feathers, in January Corona did NOT have any feathers at all on her leg.

Just look up , DMSO. It's something I'm researching.
I found CBD didn't work for me and made my dog sick but we may not have had the genuine oil here in rip off Britain

:D Stay away from those spider videos you will freak yourself out just look up cures for bites
I used DMSO with the horses, had some effect with it, but not always.

Not tried CBD, but McMaster U has done an extensive study and found no conclusive effect from it.

In the past I would try all sorts of stuff on the horses, if it worked I would try it. Spent $1000s on stuff for the horses... Most was just expensive pee (waste of money)...

Overall for injuries I have found rest, meds, exercise works. For Chronic pain staying active and taking pain meds was best treatment. Getting good sleep is of the utmost importance.

Sounds simple but in reality it's hard - everyone wants a cure in the 21 century 😁.

Last time he was here he took 2 dozen to see if any of his congregation wanted any. Today I gave him 7 dozen eggs to hand out to his church members.

I think now each time he shows up I will give him all my surplus eggs. He offered to pay for them on the churches behalf but I refused. I told him it was out of the question, if I am going to donate something it was free. He is going to ask his members to save egg cartons though for me.
That is a wonderful way to 'get rid of' surplus eggs. My church has a food pantry and I donate my extra eggs to them. Hubby just dropped off a few dozen tonight (pantry is open Saturday morning, so waiting until he goes to church is 'too late'.)

The woman who runs the pantry says the people that come are so excited to get the eggs. They get some donated by a local store when they are nearing their 'use by date', but it is never enough. She says some of the people actively ask if there are any! of our eggs It is a wonderful feeling knowing that you are helping someone out, AND that they appreciate it :)

Wish the food pantry would collect cartons back for me, though...I had to buy some recently .75 per carton with taxes. I have got to find a way for the girls to pay for themselves. (given organic feed, and 1/2 organic & low soy = expensive, )I am working to support the girls, despite selling some of their eggs! Can't blame them, though, they work had for me with all the laying, and rustling up their own 'grub' when they get to free range after work. ❤️ ❤️
