Agatha is eating her vent is back in place and no more messy poops on her fluffy

She's has been back in her coop and she was waiting for her night time cuddles tonight before bed just like she used to. I made her go into the coop this afternoon for a little nap but she's back on form. I'm soooooo happy. I know she will eventually relapse again but she's loving her life for now so happy days. :love
Marie, sorry I missed what happened with Agatha. Did she have a prolapse?

Good girls you have. I did something today for the first time and I will probably keep doing it. My neighbors dad is a preacher and he comes every two weeks to mow her grass. I had a surplus of eggs after selling what I needed to my customers this week. Last time he was here he took 2 dozen to see if any of his congregation wanted any. Today I gave him 7 dozen eggs to hand out to his church members. I held back 2 dozen for myself or if I got a unexpected request for eggs. I think now each time he shows up I will give him all my surplus eggs. He offered to pay for them on the churches behalf but I refused. I told him it was out of the question, if I am going to donate something it was free. He is going to ask his members to save egg cartons though for me.
This is lovely!!!

I used DMSO with the horses, had some effect with it, but not always.

Not tried CBD, but McMaster U has done an extensive study and found no conclusive effect from it.

In the past I would try all sorts of stuff on the horses, if it worked I would try it. Spent $1000s on stuff for the horses... Most was just expensive pee (waste of money)...

Overall for injuries I have found rest, meds, exercise works. For Chronic pain staying active and taking pain meds was best treatment. Getting good sleep is of the utmost importance.

Sounds simple but in reality it's hard - everyone wants a cure in the 21 century 😁.

Chicken tax 😊

So interesting, this talk of DMSO. Back in my science days, we used it in our experiments to keep the enzymes from sticking to the glass and being stripped out of the formulations! And, of course, it helps other things cross cell membranes. Remember White Oleander? But what is it used for medically?

Well now that's the million dollar question, does it actually do anything beneficial. The fact it acts as a transport medium makes it a good thing for mixing Stuff with.

I guess theory is is moves Stuff around the body to help with inflammation and pain. Not sure of any scholarly articles out there from reputable institutions - I generally only trust papers coming out of places like McMaster, or U of T, or Stanford, or MIT... Places of solid reputation.

Ok chicken tax is needed, will have to owe. 😊

Yes amongst other things. She wasn't eating had a pasty butt.
I did the best I could and thought I was losing her.

It was written that preparation H could be a possibility of helping her but our chemist decision was too sell all the supplies too a tattoo shop. So manuka honey was all I could use as it was already in my home and that turned out to be her saviour because her prolapse has healed and no more dirty bottom :D

It was advised not too force feed but I went against that advice and fed her with my finger and in some cases with a syringe, like yogurt and water. Foodwise it was wet layers porridge, fruit veg and mushroom @speckledhen was a real help, I'm so very grateful for her advice and support
