What's wrong with Dotty

I don’t know. Nothing specific that I can tell. She is a bit lethargic. I won’t be able to do a real examination until after dark because she is not amenable to being touched.
I will try but if she lets me pick her up that will be a sign in itself.

She just teases me when I'm in the run with some of them when almost everyone free ranges during the day. Besides at night, I only use it when I have chicks I'm brooding myself who are transitioning outside or new members that I'm trying to befriend. She is not one to talk though, I have caught her sleeping in the stalls with both Russ and Louis. This normally happens when she is out in the evenings giving them a good groom and takes a break and sits on a milk crate.

Owww milk crate butt hahaha have had that before I have slept on bales of hay - very scratchy though.

I now keep a folding camp chair out here complete with a built in side table to hold my tea, water etc hahahaha.

In the summer it's cooler in the barn, so that just sit and commune with the horses, and now the chickies sometime I wonder what they think of me hanging out with them

Sadly he did not fit in my luggage.

Otherwise I saw no poultry of any kind. There was one rooster I heard every morning in Positano. I loved waking up to him.

Breakfast again today. This time clearly a squirrel. I appear to have a ready supply of squirrels somewhere nearby. I hope the supply lasts and he doesn’t go ‘hey, those chickens taste just like squirrel’

Dotty is a bit off today. Nothing I can see wrong but a bit lethargic. She was so busy and healthy yesterday.

Hoping it is just that she has to lay or something...but not quite ready to go into the nest (or afraid to!).
That is funny, I thought everything tastes like chicken!

Well, I don't know about you, but we have plenty of squirrels here, if you get short, I can ship you some! Want red, grey, or black? We have 'em all....even flying ones! (The flying ones as so cute...and small...guessing you would prefer the others....or the foxes would....less work for a meal with the grey or even black!)

Wow that's brazen! We hardly ever see fox or coyotes or wolves during the day and not out in the open!
