Quick update.
Minnie survived the night so is off to the vet this morning.
Under cover of darkness Dotty flew over from the main roost and attacked the Hooligans. They were of course trapped because they were up high and against the door of the brooder. I will post video of the attack later so you guys can tell me how savage you think it was.
I have put the Hooligans down in the relative safety of their ground floor apartment. They can access the rest of the coop but the big Princesses in theory can’t get in. I don’t think any of them is seriously injured.

Here is the video of the attack. You don’t need to watch it all to see the basic events. Not nice! A tad more persistent than what she does to my ankles. Mean Dotty!

I'm sorry , that is a bit too much of chicken drama for one day 😟. But who knows, maybe the hooligans will understand that they are not more safe going back up there than on the lower level ?

I really hope you will hear some reassuring news from the vet.

Oh Lord.
The Hooligans barely stray from their cardboard box all day but now it is bedtime they have all managed to find their way up to the penthouse level. The door is shut so they are sitting outside bleating.
Poor Minnie just wants to sleep.
I have no idea how Bernadette got up there!
They just will not cooperate with you, will they.

:ducWash your own car Alex @Ponypoor had enough to do :D:caf
All right.. that’s enough! I have put up with your cheeky wisecracks for too long. Now, I’m prepared to send over the Roo-Minator, to fix you for good!! :p

Why is it risky? It's bedtime. Everyone's going to be asleep shortly.
Minnie is sick. I don't think it is catching but just in case I would not do that. On first blush it seems like a good opportunity. A sick hen isn't as likely to strike out at them but heaven forbid something is transmitable. Then you have made a lot of chickens sick.
