I have never done a cabbage tax. Interesting idea.......I like cabbage so I always take a tax before giving one to the Princesses!

You are fortunate indeed!I'm very fortunate to live near the best school of veterinary medicine (Texas A&M) so our local vet office has very good doctors and most know all our dogs by name. They treat our chickens too and take walk ins.
And what cat food did you use?Kitty is no longer here she was 19 when she died, she finally stopped eating and I knew she was not happy so I had the vet euthanize her so she didn't suffer.
All my cats lived long lives over 16 yrs all of them.

Excellent news. Very much could be the heat. Have you tried hosing down a dirt patch in the shade somewhere to provide some cooling in the heat of the day? I do that under my Magnolia in the heat of the summerShe was eating and drinking but was last to go into the coop to roost.
